Nexium Control Tablets 20mg is used in the treatment of GERD (obstructing the Gyratory valve) and H. pylori. Nexium Control 20mg contains esomeprazole magnesium stibitioner Nexium Control 20mg.

Nexium Control Tablets 20mg are weight-neutral and do not increase food intake. The active ingredient in Nexium Control 20mg is Esomeprazole.

Nexium Control Tablet is swallowed whole and is generally taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not take more than one tablet per day. Nexium Control Tablet may also be used for purposes not recommended.

Nexium Control Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide provided by your doctor. Co-administration of an oral tablet with food may help to in increase the absorption of Nexium Control Tablet and in reduce the risk of stomach upset. This medicine is not recommended for use in children. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines called nitrates for the treatment of chest pain or heart problems, antifungals for the treatment of fungus infection (candidiasis), the prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD), and the treatment of HIV infection.

Your doctor may adjust your dose or suggest an alternative. Do not take Nexium Control Tablet with:

• diarrhoea;
• low blood pressure;
• kidney or liver problems
• gastrointestinal problems such as gastroesophageal reflux disease, H. pylori infection, and the treatment of HIV-infected patients with this medicine

Do not take Nexium Control Tablet if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for details.

You may take this medicine with or without food. Do not increase the dose or take it more often than once daily.

The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Your doctor may tell you to take Nexium Control Tablet once a day (every 12 hours), as needed (about once a day), or as directed by your doctor (see WARNINGS: This medicine is not to be taken with medicines that you regularly use:

Your doctor may pass you a tablet or two of this medicine. If you have not discussed your medical history past doctor's mistake, you may have a test tube inserted into your throat to pass you this medicine. Your doctor may then check your blood pressure to see if this medicine is safe for you to take. Do not take this medicine if you are also taking medicines called nitrates (as needed) to treat angina or chest pain. Nitrates are a type of medicine called a nitric oxide (i.e., a chemical that relaxes blood vessels and blood pressure) used to treat angina and angina (chest pain) and to treat chest pain (i.e., angina that does not stop, and angina that is not treated,). Nexium Control Tablets 20mg is used in adults for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (for example, heartburn and acid regurgitation).

Reflux is the backflow of acid from the stomach into the gullet (“foodpipe”) which may become inflamed and painful. This may cause you symptoms such as a painful sensation in the chest rising up to your throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).

Nexium Control is not meant to bring immediate relief. You may need to take the tablets for 2-3 days in a row before you feel better. You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 14 days.

Directions

• Take one tablet once a day. Do not exceed this dose.
• The tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not chew or crush the tablets.
• May take 2-3 days for full effect.
